PE and logic
Julie taught Emma how to play checkers yesterday. she quickly grasped it and almost won a game this morning.
They all went to the beach park and walked the pier and got lots of exercise. Soren sculpted a very realistic horseshoe crab out of sand. Wish I had had my camera :(.
We went to the LCG fall equinox festival/potluck on Sunday and the girls got to be a part of the drum circle (music!) and got their fortunes told for a penny. They didn't tell me what they learned though! They also navigated a labyrinth, played with classmates and ate a lot.
Today they're at LCG. Soren cried when I left again :( But I think it was a bit better this week. The whole thing is reminiscent of leaving her at Childspace for Preschool 2 years ago. Ugh. She is so upset when I leave! Definitely sibling adjustment stuff. Emma was excited to be making her knitting needles today. I'm anxious to see what else they do. She made up a basket to carry her stuff in each week, which was fun.
This morning the girls and I played yoga garden - counting, creativity, PE ;).
Then we went to LLL. Tuesday nights are going to be family nights from here on out through Christmas, which we desperately need.
