The rest of the week

On Wednesday, we went to Alyce's house and had a hike. So, we listened for all the things we could hear in the Glen, and Soren collected leaves. Then we went to the zoo and I had them each pick 3 things to find using the map the zoo hands out. They did a good job, although we pretty much knew where things were anyway. It was a good confidence builder for Emma though, who is intimidated by maps.

On Thursday, Emma wrote a short report on her Dragonology book and Soren did a few more pages in her map book. Soren also worked on finishing her cursive book. I need to order the next edition, so that she and Emma can start together.

Then Emma and I played Othello. Then I had to go out of town. I hope we can do some more stuff tomorrow. I really like the routine we're establishing. I don't know if they did anything with David on Friday...
