catching up

Emma has been doing times tables, trying to memorize them finally. long division was getting hard, because of needing to re-compute every time.

Soren and her friend made a restaurant today, complete with menu, cash register, and receipts. they did a great job and even had comment cards!

emma's been playing a lot of computer games and continuing to read a lot. we need to get to the library this week finally.

she had a gymnastics meet this weekend. didn't go so well for her, but her team took 1st place again! Go Level 4s! We had a good time spending the night at the hotel and hanging out w/ her team mates. was some good socialization and skill building with 8 to 12 yo girls (cringe!)

Soren is doing more writing and is *really* into cursive. she might catch up to e. if e. doesn't get a move on!
